| Sound Volume of my audio books to low |
|
|
i am using Scheherazade on my N73 phone, and everything works perfectly except the volume of the audio books is to low. I set it to maximum on Scheherazade , but that's still to low, when walking on the street, with lots of traffic for example. Is there a way to increase it more? |

I recommend using "In ear" headphones (if you don't already). That makes the sound louder.

Hi, I´m using an E90 to listen on Audio books with Scheherazade, and got the same low sound level problem, especially on the subway when riding over noisy tracks. However, I´ve found a way to improve the sound level. It is possible to adjust the volume of the mp3 files them selves to maximum no-clip level. There is a nice free software for that.
1) Download the program MP3Gain from http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/index.php 2) Install it on your PC. 3) Start the program, Enable the Maximizing features (options / Advanced / enable the Maximizing features ) 4) Klick on "Add Files" and select & fetch the MP3 files of your audio book from a folder on your PC. 5) In the work area of MP3Gain, Select all the files with the mouse pointer. 6) Klick on "Analysis" / "Max No-Clipp analysis" 7) Klick on "Modify Gain" / "Apply max no clip gain for each file" 8) Exit MP3Gain 9) Copy the MP3 files to your phone.
